Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. Rather than crafting a mini biography, I’ve listed a few things about myself in the form of an FAQ.
1. What does Nakeisha Campbell do?
Nakeisha is best known for her work as an entertainment journalist, reporter, and graphic designer. She developed a passion for entertainment writing while majoring in Journalism at Baruch College, then went on to write for publications like PureWow, Distractify, Mommyish, Woman’s World and more. You’ll spot most of her bylines in PureWow, where she spent most of her time monitoring entertainment trends and publishing stories that ranged from celebrity interviews and movie roundups to net worth pieces.
Currently, Nakeisha writes on a freelance basis and is studying Christian Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary.
2. Wait, why the switch to seminary?
Nakeisha is an evangelical Christian and budding apologist who has always been deeply curious about the heart and nature of God. After leaving the Seventh Day Adventist church in 2018, she developed a passion for apologetics, and now, she has the desire to make a meaningful impact for the kingdom. Her goal is to reach people in cults who have been deceived and open their eyes to the true gospel.
3. What is the purpose of Nakeisha’s blog?
Nakeisha will use this space to share her experiences as a former Adventist and share her thoughts on suffering as a believer. She will occasionally share her written prayers, which are meant to encourage.
4. Is it true that Nakeisha is obsessed with chocolate?
It sure is. Nakeisha has visited cacao plantations in Grenada, taken chocolate-making classes and even started a social media page dedicated to all things chocolate. She is fascinated by the versatility of cacao and its many flavor notes, but most importantly, she hopes to raise awareness about ethical and sustainable farming practices.
5. Where does Nakeisha see herself in 10 years?
Nakeisha would ideally like to be in full-time ministry, using her knowledge of apologetics to edify the church and make God known.
